Core Duties
Field Leadership
- Direct and supervise a crew of 2–6 carpenters and apprentices
- Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and enforce safety protocols
- Serve as primary point of contact between crew and project superintendent
Rough & Finish Carpentry
- Framing: metal stud, wood stud, structural blocking
- Door and frame installation (hollow metal, wood, aluminum storefront)
- Millwork, casework, and interior trim installation
- Acoustical and specialty ceiling systems
- ADA-compliant hardware and accessory installation
Project Coordination
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate sequencing with other trades (drywall, MEP, flooring)
- Track and manage material quantities; submit punch lists and material requests
- Document daily production and report issues to superintendent
