Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid or remote role for a Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) based in Sarasota, FL, with flexible options. The MLO will be responsible for assisting clients with their financing needs, guiding them through the mortgage loan process, and providing tailored solutions for home purchases or refinancing. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing borrower financials, guiding clients through applications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be a critical part of this role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mortgage lending practices, loan products, and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional sales, client relationship, and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze client financials and match them with appropriate loan options
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using digital mortgage platforms and CRM tools
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
- Licensure as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) through the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS)
- Prior experience in the mortgage or finance industry is a plus
