Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant for a full-time, hybrid position based in Milford, CT, with flexibility for some remote work. In this role, you will support loan officers in processing loan applications, preparing documentation, and maintaining client communication. Responsibilities include gathering borrower information, verifying loan documents, coordinating with processors, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the loan process.
Qualifications
- 1-2 Years Mortgage Experience
- Administrative and organizational skills, including attention to detail and time management
- Knowledge of loan processing, document verification, and compliance regulations in the mortgage industry
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in relevant software and platforms, such as mortgage or loan origination systems and general office tools
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Background in real estate or finance is advantageous
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state mortgage lending regulations is a plus
