What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Administrator position at Revman International Inc?
This position is responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate delivery of payroll, benefits, and employee service; this position is responsible for human resources information including recordkeeping and reporting and will also provide administrative and project management support to the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the administration of benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, vacation and personal leave, sick leave and employee assistance
- Responsible for serving as a point of contact for employee assistance as it relates to payroll and benefits administration
- Responsible for resolving employee complaints related to benefit plans and referring difficult or complex issues to human resources management
- Responsible for serving as a liaison with all insurance plan providers, 401(k) retirement plan provider, COBRA benefits provider, and payroll provider
- Responsible for being the back-up in processing payroll and maintaining payroll information as required
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining related payroll records and reports as required
- Responsible for processing employee enrollments and terminations and ensure proper deductions occur
- Responsible for keeping records of benefits plan participation such as insurance, personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting or audit purposes
- Responsible for assisting in annual open enrollment during the fourth quarter of each year to include arranging for distribution of materials from carriers, arranging for on-site provider representation, and assisting with the communication changes to employees
- Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for the Human Resources department to include composing and distributing routine written correspondence from the Human Resources department on various issues
- Responsible for providing support on projects to include preparation of documents and follow-up on timelines
- Responsible for assisting in identifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions and help ensure that policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance
- Responsible for making recommendations to the Human Resources Management team for improvement of the company’s policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- One to three years of experience in Human Resources with primary responsibility for payroll and benefits administration
- Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and federal/state regulations is required
- Possess strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and HRIS payroll systems
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in order to effectively communicate and report information to all levels of the Company
- Possess strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
- Ability to prioritize work, be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to multi-task on a routine basis, be detail-oriented, have a proactive mindset and have the ability to perform the job under a moderate to high level of stress
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline is preferred
- Previous experience working with HRIS is preferred
