Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Kissimmee, FL

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on hotel/resort equipment and systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to guest rooms, public areas, pools, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities.
• Inspect property regularly to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, or repair requirements.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and electrical systems.
• Ensure all equipment operates according to manufacturer and safety standards.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Support renovation projects, installations, and facility upgrades as needed.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and engineering work areas in safe and organized conditions.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Technical or trade certification preferred.
• 2-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality, facilities, or property maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and emergency calls.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with hotel preventive maintenance systems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
