Elementary Math & Literacy Interventionist — Part-Time

Looking for meaningful part-time work that puts your teaching experience to use — without the lesson-plan grading, staff meetings, or full-time hours? Results Learning is hiring elementary reading and/or math interventionists to work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need it most. This role is a great fit for retired teachers, veteran educators looking for a flexible schedule, or anyone who wants to focus purely on teaching — no administrative overhead required.

Results Learning partners with schools across the Denver Metro area to provide reading, math, and executive functioning services. This posting covers two openings at a private religious school in the 80246 zip code, with schedules tailored to each role (see below). Instruction takes place one-on-one or in small groups of four students or less, during the school day.

Position Details

Option A — Literacy Focus

• Monday & Wednesday, 12:30–3:30 PM (flexible days, up to 8 hrs/week)

• Primary focus: elementary literacy support

Option B — Math & Literacy Focus

• Monday–Thursday, 12:30–3:30 PM (up to 12 hrs/week)

• Primary focus: 3rd–4th grade math and literacy (flexibility to work with 1st–5th as needed)

Both positions:

• Available October 12, 2026–May 29, 2027; follows school calendar (week of December 21 off)

• Title I private school in Denver, Colorado

Job Requirements:

• Strong background in elementary literacy and/or math instruction

• Must hold a valid Colorado Elementary Education Teaching License (current or reinstated/emeritus status — ask us if you're unsure of your standing)

• Demonstrated ability to differentiate reading, math, and/or writing strategies for individual learners

• Comfortable providing executive functioning support to students

• Strong communicator with teachers and parents

• Reliable transportation

• Available October 12, 2026–May 29, 2027, following the school calendar (week of December 21 off)

• Classroom teaching experience valued at any stage of your career — whether you're newly certified or bring decades in the classroom

• Preferred (not required): experience with English language learners, DIBELS benchmarking, Orton-Gillingham or Science of Reading training, bilingual English/Spanish
