Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and food quality control.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Toast POS for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies.
- Handle transactions accurately, perform shift cash-outs, and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Train and develop staff members on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
- Manage scheduling, shift management, and ensure smooth coordination among kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, and other team members.
- Implement food industry best practices for catering, banquets, bar service, and quick service restaurant operations.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality management by fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Conduct interviews for new hires, evaluate staff performance regularly, and support staff training & development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with supervising responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and inventory control.
- Strong background in managing fast food or casual dining establishments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, food production planning, and food industry operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to handle cash accurately while managing shift operations efficiently.
- Knowledge of catering services and banquet operations is desirable.
- Previous experience in training & development programs within a hospitality setting is preferred.
