We are seeking a dynamic and hospitality-driven Front of House Manager to join a high-volume, upscale steakhouse known for exceptional service, premium dining experiences, and a vibrant atmosphere.

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction, developing high-performing teams, and maintaining the highest standards of service excellence. The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with a passion for hospitality, team development, and operational execution.

Position Summary

The Front of House Manager will oversee daily restaurant operations while leading service teams to deliver memorable guest experiences. This individual will be responsible for staffing, training, guest relations, financial controls, and maintaining operational standards in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Hospitality

  • Ensure every guest receives exceptional, personalized service.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the floor during service periods.
  • Foster a hospitality-focused culture that exceeds guest expectations.
  • Monitor service standards and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop front-of-house team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings focused on service, menu knowledge, and operational updates.
  • Create a positive, high-performance culture focused on accountability and teamwork.
  • Develop future leaders through mentorship and ongoing training.

Restaurant Operations

  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including dining room, bar, host stand, and private dining areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate staffing levels and scheduling based on business demands.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the restaurant.
  • Support banquet, private dining, and special event execution as needed.

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Assist with labor management, payroll review, and scheduling.
  • Support inventory management for beverage, supplies, and operating equipment.
  • Monitor cash handling procedures and financial controls.
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and operational documentation accurately and on time.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize profitability.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
  • Monitor food and beverage quality standards throughout service.
  • Maintain proper receiving and storage procedures.
  • Address operational issues related to waste, theft, or process inefficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in upscale casual, fine dining, or high-volume hospitality environments.
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and service standards.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop service teams.
  • Experience managing labor, scheduling, and operational performance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
  • Event and private dining experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, reservation platforms, and restaurant management software preferred.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.


Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
