Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Supervisor to oversee the operations of multiple Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) locations throughout the Philadelphia market. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, developing restaurant management teams, and achieving financial and performance goals across the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate is a strong multi-unit leader with a proven track record in high-volume restaurant operations, team development, and profitability management.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations for multiple restaurant locations within the assigned market.
- Ensure consistent execution of company standards, policies, and operating procedures.
- Conduct regular restaurant visits to evaluate performance, cleanliness, food quality, service standards, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Identify operational opportunities and implement action plans to improve performance.
Team Development & Leadership
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Restaurant Managers and leadership teams.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct regular evaluations.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
Financial Management
- Monitor and analyze sales, labor, food cost, and profitability metrics.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses.
- Ensure restaurants meet or exceed budgeted financial goals.
- Review P&L statements and collaborate with management teams to drive financial performance.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every location delivers outstanding customer service and hospitality.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote a guest-focused culture that drives loyalty and repeat business.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
- Monitor workplace safety practices and risk management procedures.
Strategic Execution
- Support new store openings, remodels, and operational initiatives.
- Implement company programs, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
- Partner with senior leadership to achieve organizational objectives and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience required.
- Previous experience as an Area Supervisor, District Manager, Area Manager, or similar leadership role within a Quick Service Restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, labor management, food cost controls, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing management teams.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel regularly between restaurant locations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and restaurant management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple high-volume QSR locations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain certification.
