Machine Operator – Metal Fabrication (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Some positions may operate 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; final schedule provided at hire)

The facility is a full-service fabrication environment specializing in roll bending, cutting, forming, welding, and custom metal production. Position Summary
The Machine Operator will work within a fabrication and production environment, operating various forms of metalworking equipment. This position includes machine setup, production operation, quality inspections, and basic equipment maintenance. Ideal candidates will have fabrication experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently while supporting a small, skilled team.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and set up fabrication machinery, including roll bending, tube bending, shearing, brake forming, sawing, and plate rolling equipment.
Assist with programming or adjusting machine settings to meet production specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine proper setup and material requirements.
Perform machine setup, run production parts, and complete routine maintenance tasks.
Inspect finished products using appropriate measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
Maintain production logs and report operational issues to supervisors promptly.
Coordinate workflow with team members to ensure efficient production processes.
Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Support a collaborative, quality-driven production environment.
Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Basic math skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry
Understanding of metal fabrication processes and material types
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently
Preferred:
1 years of experience in a metal fabrication, machining, or industrial manufacturing environment
Experience setting up or programming bending or rolling machines
Familiarity with custom metal fabrication workflows
Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability
