The Guest Service Agent plays a vital role in delivering impeccable hospitality to our owners and guests. This position is responsible for welcoming & checking guests in and out, providing concierge services, responding to guest and owner requests, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance.
The successful candidate will have outstanding people skills, enjoy hospitality, be skilled in multi-tasking, and present themselves in a professional manner.
$21-25/hr DOE (annual equivalent of $43,680-52,000)

Summary: This position will work with our guest services department in providing exceptional hospitality to our guests and owners. This position is integral in delivering a pleasant, positive and memorable vacation experience to visitors by being professional, courteous, and helpful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Greets, registers, and gives directions to guests/owners. Issues room key and escort instructions to Bell/Shuttle Driver’s.
Understands Resort’s utilized TRACK software & reservation system to be able to post monetary transactions, check in/ check-out guest, and make walk-in reservations.
Handle multiple phone lines including routing them to other departments.
Serve as the liaison between the guest/owners and the maintenance and housekeeping departments.
Be able to enter work orders, use a two way radio, and a paging system.
Handles administrative duties such as: report compilation, photocopying, retrieving and sorting mail, posting outgoing mail, and delivering messages.
Answers inquiries pertaining to resort services; registration of guests and lodging policies.
Advises guests of available area activities, events, entertainment and provides concierge services as requested.
Interfaces with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate delivery of supplies and services for front office department.
Maintains a secure key control system to ensure the safety of our guests, owners, and their property.
Provides Shuttle Service as necessary: entails providing safe transportation of guests/owners around town. Loading and unloading luggage and ski equipment, and may involve carrying heavy loads up and down stairs.
Arranges for special services and equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned by Director, Manager or other department heads and may be assigned either permanently or temporarily to other Mountain Resorts or Simply Steamboat Front Office Operations, as business needs demand.
