Resolve Harmony is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee the financial and administrative operations of our skilled nursing facility. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate billing, supporting residents and families, and ensuring the business office operates efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Medicare, Medicaid, private-pay, insurance, and managed-care billing
- Maintain accurate resident financial records and census information
- Complete eligibility verification, authorizations, collections, and account reconciliation
- Process resident trust accounts and prepare required financial reports
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, insurance providers, and government agencies
- Ensure billing documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Collaborate with admissions, nursing, payroll, and facility leadership
- Follow all federal, state, and company policies regarding billing and resident information
Qualifications:
- Previous Business Office Manager experience in a skilled nursing facility is strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private-pay, and managed-care billing
- Experience with accounts receivable, collections, and resident trust accounts
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Proficiency with healthcare billing systems and Microsoft Office
