The Field Engineer will:
- Have 3-5 years of experience as a survey crew chief working in areas like construction layout and as-builts.
- Experience utilizing Leica Robotic Total Station
- Experience using levels, line lasers, and hand measuring tools to accurately retrieve measurements in the field and then producing accurate as-built style drawings and sketches for our detailers to utilize in the design process of items.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong analytical skills in the field.
- Attention to detail and a desire to produce high quality, accurate, and detailed drawings from all field measurements, whether in AutoCAD or on paper.
The Field Engineer will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
- Experience with heavy construction jobs - particularly steel construction - is preferred but not required.
- Experience with AutoCAD is preferred
- Experience with Leica 3D Scanner BLK360 is a plus
- Experience running Carlson Software and Data Collectors
