POSITION SUMMARY
The Guest Service Agent serves as our guests' first point of contact and manages all aspects of their accommodation. Guest Services Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities while continuing efforts to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This is a non-exempt (hourly paid) position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensures credit cards are processed and identification aligns with credit card or payment method to eliminate fraud or other unlawful activity.
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, amenities, & be knowledgeable of hotel
- Respond to guests' complaints/inquiries in a timely and professional
- Communicates with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests'
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees; e. wedding guests, banquet events, etc.
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when
- Encourage guests to provide positive public forum feedback (guest satisfaction surveys, Yelp, other social media platforms, etc.).
- Answer all calls within three (3) All calls are to be answered in a "scripted" manner with a friendly, professional and helpful tone.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and Ensure all payment protocols are followed at all times including but not limited to identification verification, reservation payments and payments upon check in.
- Complete thorough and accurate daily reports, audits correspondences as required by your shift or as directed on a consistent basis.
- Maintain lobby, front desk, entry and office area clean at all
- Stays abreast of industry trends and regulatory issues; as well as professional standards and makes recommendations on improvement processes. May be requested participate in workshops and seminars to stay current with industry specific training or opportunities.
