About Us:
The Residence Inn Detroit Novi is dedicated to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Room Attendant to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms and common areas to brand standards
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Replenish guest room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and amenities
- Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean bathrooms including toilets, showers, and sinks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding health and safety, confidentiality, and guest service
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and contribute as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to hotel policies and procedures
