Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, guest corridors, lobbies, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies and ensuring guest rooms and common areas are well-maintained.
- Handle janitorial duties including waste removal, restocking amenities, and deep cleaning as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness of hotel equipment and supplies, ensuring all tools are sanitized and organized.
- Support industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing appropriate cleaning agents and equipment safely.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing.
- Experience with hotel housekeeping or custodial responsibilities is a strong advantage.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work on weekends as well as morning or evening shifts to meet operational needs.
