Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Inspector

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor/Room Inspector to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards
• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation
• Train, motivate, and support housekeeping team members in cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service skills
• Implement cleaning schedules and floor care routines using industry-standard equipment and methods
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; place orders as needed to maintain stock levels
• Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members to promote continuous improvement in service delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial cleaning environments
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and custodial best practices
• Previous experience in hotel operations or hospitality industry preferred
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement quickly
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team
• Good communication skills to coordinate with other departments and address guest concerns effectively
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift cleaning equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks as required
