Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, and facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure readiness for guests or residents
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent accidents
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning tools and supplies for efficiency and safety
- Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and polishing
- Familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality in every task
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
