Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team! This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming experience for all guests.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Care for floors through proper sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning techniques to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to cleaning procedures and chemical handling
Requirements
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including staying late when required based on business needs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- May be required to step into the role of “Inspector” in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper
- Ensure quality control by inspecting rooms and public areas when assigned
- Bilingual (a plus)
