Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Perform floor care activities including stripping, waxing, polishing, and buffing to keep all flooring looking fresh and well-maintained.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols for industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to the management team for swift resolution.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability for daily operations.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including vacuuming, dusting, and surface sanitation.
- Knowledge of floor care procedures such as waxing, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
- Experience with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Background in hospitality or custodial management enhances ability to deliver exceptional service standards.
