Position: EMAC Administrative Contractor
Location: Indianapolis, IN – Onsite

Contract: 09/28/2026 – 02/26/2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Hours: Flexible, as long as 37.5 hours are completed weekly

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Logistics Section Chief with closing out open Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) reimbursement packets.
- Review reimbursement packages for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple documents.
- Review and organize timesheets, equipment records, expense logs, and other deployment documentation.
- Assist with preparing, auditing, and submitting comprehensive reimbursement packages.
- Coordinate with other states, agencies, and personnel to resolve discrepancies and obtain required documentation.
- Support the processing and review of Request for Assistance (REQ-A) forms.
- Track deployed resources, logistics, mission status, and related documentation.
- Assist with reconciling costs between assisting agencies/entities and requesting states to support reimbursement.
- Maintain accurate records and provide routine status updates to leadership.
- Assist with resource typing, cataloging, and vetting of deployable resources.
- Support Emergency Operations Center activities and other emergency management administrative tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of customer service experience in an administrative, clerical, or similar role.
- 2 years of experience working with spreadsheets and databases.
- 2 years of reimbursement or financial reconciliation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer and mathematical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Emergency management experience or related credentials/certifications.
- Prior government or public-sector experience.
- Logistics or supply chain coordination experience.
- Knowledge of the EMAC process is a plus, but training can be provided.
