- Job Title: Material Handler
- Location: Madison, IN 47250
- Duration: Temp to Hire
- Pay Rate: $21.00/Hr.
- Shift: 2nd : 3:30pm-12:00am (M-F)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds repeatedly, a minimum of 2 times per day
- Operate electric reach truck/order picker in the movement of stock
- Operate conventional fork truck
- Prepare orders and documents for material or product moving in and/or out of the plants
- Operate equipment required for moving material or product in or out of the plants
- Load and unload transportation equipment while ensuring safety and security of material and/or product
- Develop product, parts, and material knowledge
- Develop working knowledge of company work processes and systems
- Work at heights up to 25 feet
- Perform cycle inventory counts and record results using personal computer, CRT, or other electronic data capture systems
- Use personal computer or CRT lot location system to record piece counts received and/or shipped and record part locations
Education and Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or warehouse experience
