Duties & Responsibilities Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and energetic attitude
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests entering the venue
- Create a guest-centric atmosphere focused on hospitality and experience
- Recognize and greet regular guests and VIP clientele by name when possible
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times
Door Operations
- Manage front door operations during business hours
- Verify identification and ensure compliance with venue age policies
- Handle cover charge transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized guest entry lines and manage venue flow
- Communicate wait times, table availability, and venue policies professionally
- Coordinate with security and management to maintain a safe environment
VIP & Table Service Support
- Carry and manage the VIP phone, responding promptly to calls, texts, and social media inquiries regarding tables and reservations
- Assist with VIP table check-ins and escort guests to reserved sections
- Maintain strong communication with VIP hosts, bottle service staff, security, and management
- Help maximize VIP sales opportunities and enhance guest retention
Promotions & Events
- Assist in promoting venue events, specials, and VIP experiences
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support promotional events and nightlife programming
- Build and maintain relationships with guests, influencers, and local clientele to increase repeat business
Administrative & Operational Support
- Accurately maintain guest lists, reservations, and cover counts
- Ensure front entrance and host areas remain clean, organized, and presentable
- Communicate guest feedback and operational issues to management promptly
- Support venue operations Thursday through Sunday, including late-night shifts
Qualifications
- Previous nightlife, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, confident, and professional personality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation and flexible late-night/weekend availability
- Knowledge of nightlife hospitality and VIP service standards preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in loud, crowded, fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if needed
Schedule Expectations
- Evening and late-night availability required
- Weekend availability required (Thursday–Sunday preferred)
- Holiday and special event availability may be required
