Job Summary
Reproductive Genetic Innovations, LLC (RGI) is a pioneer in the field of pre-implantation genetic testing, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Working with approximately 200 centers and clinics around the world, RGI is looking to fill a role for a full-time, on-site Lab Assistant to work as a part of our laboratory testing team. This person will be trained to perform clinical casework, DNA extraction, Lysis buffer preparation, lab housekeeping, filing charts and other duties as needed. They will work as an integral part of our staff to complete patient testing in an accurate and timely manner. This position reports directly to the lab supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor's degree in biology, genetics, or other relevant field
· Previous experience working in a laboratory setting required
· Basic knowledge of Windows and other IT
· Knowledge of basic genetic concepts and terminology
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals
· Self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
· Skilled in prioritization, multitasking, and critical thinking/problem solving
· Curiosity, creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to learn quickly
This position will pay $50,000-$65,000 annually, based on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for employment benefits after completing 60 days of employment at RGI.
