This role is based in our state-of-the-art headquarters with a bright, spacious, shared workspace; scenic views of the Rocky Mountains; and a kitchen always stocked with healthy snacks, protein powder, and coffee. We offer a hybrid work environment with a minimum of three days in the office, but there's flexibility about which days and hours.

About This Role:

We are looking for a highly strategic and analytical Senior Social Media Manager to lead the direction, performance and growth of our social platforms. This role is not responsible for creating content (they will partner with our Senior Content Creator who leads all social-first content creation), but instead, serves as the strategic engine behind social performance, insights, platform expansion and community growth.

 

Responsibilities:

Social Strategy & Growth: 

  • Own the organic strategy across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc)  
  • Drive channel growth through community building, collab posts, engaging campaigns, and strategic boosting/pay-to-play execution 
  • Lead the brand’s expansion on new, or underutilized channels, including TikTok, TikTok Shop, and future emerging channels 
  • Build and own a content calendar with collaboration from the Sr Content Creator. Calendar should be informed by larger marketing initiatives, launches, trends, insights and social listening.  
  • Deliver clear, insight-informed briefs to the Senior Content Creator (and Creative team when necessary) to guide content development 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with partnerships, paid media, growth and creative to ensure clarity and impact 

Insights, Analytics & Social Listening:  

  • Track and analyze performance weekly and monthly by platform, focusing on key KPIs such as: 
  • Platform growth 
  • Engagement  
  • Content performance 
  • Audience sentiment & social listening insights 
  • Attributable revenue (TikTok Shop) 
  • UGC integration and performance 
  • Community engagement response time 
  • Competitive trends 
  • Conduct ongoing social listening and spot trends, identify brand opportunities and gauge community sentiment 
  • Translate performance data and listening insights into clear creative briefs for the Sr Content Creator 
  • Optimize strategy based on analytics, platform changes, and audience behavior 
  • Create and maintain organized analytics dashboard and reporting frameworks 

 Social Media Leadership: 

  • Lead and mentor the Influencer Manager with clear goals, frameworks and performance expectations, ensuring our influencers stay on-brand and deliver on KPIs 
  • Lead and mentor the Community Manager, ensuring best practices, brand voice and timely engagement across platforms. Ensure strong moderation practices and escalation paths.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and act on social media data. 

  

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred 
  • 5 years of experience in social media management, with experience managing brands with 100k followers  
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media channels and driving engagement. 
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for fitness and strength training 
  • Highly analytical with experience turning data into actionable strategy.  
  • Expert understanding of social media algorithms and emerging content trends 
  • Management (directly or indirectly) with influencers & community engagement

Compensation base range: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00
