The PV Electrical Team Lead plans, supervises, installs, and services residential PV systems, energy storage systems, data collection systems, and assists with other electrical service equipment, energy efficiency, and backup generator integration projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review of site surveys and permit plansets in preparation for installation
- Perform and supervise the safe installation of PV/ESS system components as per design, engineering, AHJ, and NEC compliance requirements
- Coordinate with Rooftop Team Lead and Operations Team during installation process to provide an excellent customer experience and quality installation
- Strict adherence to OSHA and Renu safety policy, procedure, and guidelines
- Maintain an organized work van and maintain company provided tools/equipment and safety gear
- Maintain van inventory and coordinate with Field Supervisor and Warehouse Manager on material needs
- Complete project take-off sheets, and fulfill all install photo and project close out (QC/QA) documentation requirements
- Follow electrical line diagrams and equipment specifications to install high quality PV and ESS systems correctly, and in an efficient manner
- Maintain an organized work truck and maintain tools/equipment
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a drive to problem solve
- Valid state issued driver’s license, clean driving record and access to reliable transportation
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and an excellent work ethic
- Ability to work on rooftops, ladders, attics, crawlspaces and confined spaces safely
- Demonstrated ability to pick up and carry heavy objects
- General knowledge of home construction, building materials, workplace safety, fall protection, and OSHA safety standards
- Maintain a clean workspace and jobsite
- Take pride in performing installations in a workman-like manner – for yourself, the client, and the company
- Desire to learn and grow in a rapidly developing industry
- Basic computer skills
- 2 years of experience leading PV/ESS electrical installations (with referrals)
- Documented OSHA training and certifications
- NABCEP PV Associate credential
- NFPA 70E training and certification
- Experience working with EMT, DC wiring, AC wiring, multiple inverter and battery manufacturers, and sensitive electronic equipment
- Degree program or advanced certification education
- Data networking skills and experience
- An ability to provide excellent client service
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
