What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard coordinator (Yardman) position at RENTWAY?

What you'll do
- Load and unload with forklift, telehandler, or rigging; stage for dispatch and receive returns.
- Inspect returns for damage and wear; flag to the Mechanic and bill-backs to Inside Sales.
- Clean, prep, top off fluids, and tag equipment rental-ready.
- Keep the yard organized - clear walkways, safe zones, signage.
- Greet customers at pickup, do the walk-around, demo safe operation.
- Snow and ice management in winter; daily yard security walk.
What you'll bring
- 2 years yard, warehouse, construction labor, or equipment-handling experience.
- OSHA forklift cert (or willing to certify in the first 2 weeks).
- Valid driver's license; lift 50 lbs; work outdoors year-round (NH winter); on your feet most of the day.
- Reliable - show up on time, every time.
- Bonus: rental-industry experience, CDL A/B, telehandler/aerial certs, mechanical aptitude, bilingual EN/ES.
