What you'll do
- Hunt new accounts - cold calls, jobsite visits, contractor offices. Mornings on jobsites, afternoons at the office. That's the rhythm.
- Own your territory from zero. No inherited book - you build it.
- Sell equipment we know better than anyone: skid steers, mini excavators, telehandlers, scissor and bucket lifts, light equipment, plus heavy machines as the fleet grows.
- Work directly with the Branch Manager on pricing and fleet decisions. No five-layer approval chain. Pricing calls happen the same day.
- Grow existing accounts into your strongest relationships.
- Represent us at trade shows, contractor associations, and industry events.
What you'll bring
- 3 years of outside sales experience in equipment rental, construction supply, or similar industrial B2B.
- A hunter mindset - you've opened cold accounts and you know what jobsite selling actually feels like.
- Comfort around construction equipment - you can talk excavators and lifts with a foreman without a script.
- Local NH/MA connections, or the willingness to build them fast.
- Self-managed and accountable. You'll have support, but you set your own week.
- Valid driver's license, clean record.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a real plus - relevant on most jobsites in New England.

Rentway is a European equipment rental company - the #2 Bobcat purchaser in the Nordics, with direct factory relationships and 15 years of running the contractor - rental playbook across Europe. Merrimack is our first US branch, and we're hiring the people who'll define how we operate here.
THE PACKAGE
- Base: $70,000-$80,000 (based on experience)
- Commission: 3% uncapped on personal recurring revenue
- Year 1 OTE target: $110,000-$140,000
- Year 2 top performers: $150,000
- Plus: Company vehicle and fuel card · Health/dental/vision from Day 1 · 401(k) match · PTO from start
- Reports to: Branch Manager
- Travel: Within NH/MA territory, plus occasional industry events
