Job Purpose and Objectives:
Performs various financial accounting procedures including payroll, accounts payable and cash management for the Health Department. Prepares various financial reports as required. Maintains billing records for Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, and private pay accounts.

Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business and one to two (1-2) years of experience in accounting and financial processes.
- Years of experience may be supplemented for education.
- Computer literate. Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Quickbooks is highly recommended.
- Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position.
Certifications / Licenses:
- Certification and license updates for Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance billing as required.
- CPR certification preferred.
