Renewyx are partnering with a federal general contractor on a government building roof repair project in Washington DC to source a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO).
The SSHO will serve as the contractor's designated competent person for safety, present on-site at all times during active construction and fully responsible for safety management from mobilisation through to project completion.
๐ง๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐ฒ:
You will implement and administer the project Accident Prevention Plan and all Activity Hazard Analyses, conduct daily inspections and weekly toolbox talks, and maintain compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 29 CFR 1926. You will also manage incident investigation and reporting, coordinate with the Contracting Officer and Government Safety Representative, and oversee fall protection, scaffold safety, and occupant protection throughout the project.

โข Minimum five years of progressive construction safety experience
โข Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification and Competent Person Training
โข EM 385-1-1 Construction Safety Hazard Awareness certification
โข USACE CQM for Contractors Certification
โข Demonstrated experience preparing and administering APPs and AHAs on federal or occupied-facility projects
