Position Summary

The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring compliance with CARF and COMAR standards, and supporting staff and consumers across all RMBHS programs. This is a contractual (1099) role with a part-time schedule, offering flexibility while supporting the organization’s mission.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee daily program operations; set priorities and coordinate activities.
• Support the CEO in implementing RMBHS’ strategic plan and program goals.
• Maintain the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to ensure compliance with COMAR.
• Conduct consumer intakes, orientations, and maintain waiting lists and documentation.
• Monitor program implementation, outcomes, and consumer satisfaction.
• Assist with audits, quality assurance reviews, and corrective action plans.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with therapists, prescribers, case managers, and community partners.
• Support staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and recordkeeping.
• Market RMBHS programs, build community partnerships, and facilitate referrals.
• Assist with billing processes, consumer files, and administrative coordination.
• Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma with relevant experience in behavioral health may be considered.
• Experience in program coordination, compliance, or behavioral health strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CARF accreditation and Maryland COMAR regulations.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
• Reliable transportation for occasional community or site visits.

Compensation

• Contractual 1099 position (independent contractor).
• Competitive hourly rate, paid bi-weekly.
• No employee benefits (taxes and insurance are the responsibility of the contractor).
