Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily operations, ensuring compliance with CARF and COMAR standards, and supporting staff and consumers across all RMBHS programs. This is a contractual (1099) role with a part-time schedule, offering flexibility while supporting the organization’s mission.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule and oversee daily program operations; set priorities and coordinate activities.
- Support the CEO in implementing RMBHS’ strategic plan and program goals.
- Maintain the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to ensure compliance with COMAR.
- Conduct consumer intakes, orientations, and maintain waiting lists and documentation.
- Monitor program implementation, outcomes, and consumer satisfaction.
- Assist with audits, quality assurance reviews, and corrective action plans.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with therapists, prescribers, case managers, and community partners.
- Support staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and recordkeeping.
- Market RMBHS programs, build community partnerships, and facilitate referrals.
- Assist with billing processes, consumer files, and administrative coordination.
- Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and trainings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field preferred.
- High School Diploma with relevant experience in behavioral health may be considered.
- Experience in program coordination, compliance, or behavioral health strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of CARF accreditation and Maryland COMAR regulations.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
- Reliable transportation for occasional community or site visits.
Compensation
- Contractual 1099 position (independent contractor).
- Competitive hourly rate, paid bi-weekly.
- No employee benefits (taxes and insurance are the responsibility of the contractor).
Salary : $24
