What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Renewable Energy & Drives US?
Renewable Energy & Drives US, LLC (RED-US) is newly formed parts and service business servicing Power Electronic Systems with a pre-established customer base and fully engineered products. We are looking for an experienced Accountant to help assist the Controller with daily duties.
This person will have to be a self-starter, detail oriented, and skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and QBO. Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment required. RE&D offers benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, as well as a generous PTO plan.
Accounting Duties
Work directly with payroll provider to submit time and process payroll in a timely manner.
Enter payroll values in detailed worksheet and QBO.
Accounts payable entry/coding matching POs and receiving documents.
Follow up on invoices waiting for approval.
Track open POs.
Issue Accounts Receivable invoices.
Sales and Use Tax experience a plus.
Manage collections of invoices.
Scan checks into banking software.
Track fixed asset purchases and disposal.
Reconciliation of accounts.
Assist Controller with additional work.
Assist with Miscellaneous work as assigned by Controller.
