Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers and assisting with inquiries
- Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
- Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning shelves, counters, and tables
- Process transactions, including computing sales, prices, and total purchases
- Handle cash and credit card payments, including operating cash registers and balancing cash drawers
- Provide product knowledge, including describing merchandise and explaining its use and care
- Assist customers at the sample table and with online orders
- Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs
- Monitor store security, including recognizing security risks and thefts, and knowing how to prevent and handle these situations
- Stock shelves and coolers
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
Schedule
This is a part-time, seasonal position. The schedule includes day shifts and requires availability every other weekend.
Offered compensation: $15/hr - $16/hr
