Site Support Specialist (Tier 1 / Tier 2)
Location: Columbia, SC 29201 (Onsite, 5 days/week)
Compensation: $40,640 – $50,800 DOE
Travel: Quarterly and as needed (Charleston support)
Training: 1-week paid training/shadowing in Raleigh, NC
Position Summary
We are seeking an IT Site Support Specialist to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for approximately 40 end users across Columbia and Charleston offices. This role delivers hands-on support for hardware, software, and networking needs while partnering with regional and firmwide IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide desktop, laptop, and application support (Windows OS)
- Deploy, image, and maintain devices and peripherals
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues
- Support printers, A/V equipment, mobile devices, and telephony
- Maintain asset inventory and ownership of support tickets
- Serve as the local IT liaison and support technology initiatives
Requirements
- 4 years of IT support experience (law firm preferred)
- Four-year technical degree in Computer Science or Information Tecnology
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Dell/Lenovo hardware
- Experience supporting 30 end users (on-site)
- Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills
- SCCM, MDM, and DMS experience a plus
- Relevant certifications preferred (Microsoft, Azure, CompTIA, ITIL)
