About the Opportunity
A growing and innovative health technology company is seeking a Product Repair Technician to support the repair, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of specialized electronic and medical equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving equipment issues, and contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
The Product Repair Technician will play a key role in servicing returned products, ensuring equipment performance, maintaining service records, and supporting customers through effective technical solutions. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Irvine, California, reporting to the Product Repair Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-house repairs and maintenance on professional and consumer electronic/medical devices.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify effective repair solutions.
- Inspect, test, calibrate, assemble, and disassemble products as needed.
- Track, organize, and document returned products, including customer devices, internal equipment, and consumer returns.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities related to repairs and product returns.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and repair documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical and customer service-related concerns.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance activities meet established quality standards.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in product repair, technical support, electronics servicing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred
- Experience working with medical devices, diagnostic equipment, or consumer electronics.
- Familiarity with CRM, help desk, or ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of repair documentation and service tracking processes.
