New Opportunity - Controller in Howell, NJ!

We are seeking an experienced Controller (or Assistant Controller) with 7 years of hands-on A–Z accounting experience and proven leadership capability to oversee and manage the full accounting function.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full accounting cycle (A–Z), including GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and process improvements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
- Deep understanding of all core accounting functions and best practices
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, hands-on finance leader who thrives in ownership of the entire accounting operation. On site in Howell (Monmouth County) NJ. Salary neg: 185K.
