Prior Authorization Specialist

Location: Onsite Sandy, UT (Salt Lake City)

Pay: $24-$28/hr DOE

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00/9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We're looking for a detail-oriented Prior Authorization Specialist to join a growing healthcare team! In this role, you'll work directly with insurance carriers, providers, and internal teams to secure treatment approvals, verify benefits, and resolve authorization challenges. If you enjoy problem-solving, staying organized, and making a direct impact on patient care, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do: ✅ Process prior authorizations, appeals, and denials

✅ Verify insurance benefits and eligibility

✅ Review payer requirements and medical documentation

✅ Communicate with providers, patients, and insurance companies

✅ Manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines

Requirements:
