Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant

A fast-growing manufacturing company in Humble, TX is seeking an Accounting Manager / Senior Accountant to join its finance team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports
- Perform cost accounting, inventory analysis, and manufacturing variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
- Partner closely with operations and plant leadership to support business decisions
- Assist with audits, tax support, and special accounting projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and scalability as the company grows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Manufacturing accounting experience required
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience (senior accountant or manager level)
- Strong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and month-end close
- ERP system experience preferred
- CPA or CMA a plus, but not required
- Hands-on, proactive mindset with interest in leadership growth
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
