The Field Operations Scheduler is responsible for assigning field research activities to a distributed field team. This role is key to ensuring timely project delivery, managing field-related costs, and supporting team satisfaction by providing balanced and efficient work assignments.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing new field assignments.
- Work independently under general supervision to manage assignment workflows for incoming requests.
- Review and analyze reporting data to determine optimal allocation of field resources.
- Track task progress; communicate with field staff to confirm assignments; and reassign work as needed to meet deadlines.
- Support delivery expectations by identifying tasks at risk and reallocating resources proactively.
- Collaborate closely with field operations stakeholders to recommend staffing adjustments and training needs.
- Monitor assignment outcomes, perform analysis, and suggest process improvements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Capacity for independent judgment and initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with strong multi‑tasking skills.
- Experience with dashboards and database tools preferred.
- Proficiency in Excel.
