An expanding organization is looking to add a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to lead and manage AP operations across a multi-entity structure.
This position offers a blend of hands-on execution and team leadership, ideal for someone who enjoys driving accuracy, improving processes, and overseeing high-volume workflows.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the day-to-day accounts payable function across multiple entities
- Review invoice activity, AP aging, and payment requests to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Oversee weekly payment cycles and manage cash disbursement activities
- Compile and present payment reports and cash needs analysis
- Resolve discrepancies, vendor issues, and coding inconsistencies
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner with the accounting team during month-end close
- Support audit requests and maintain organized documentation
- Guide and develop AP staff while improving workflow efficiency
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance systems
- Healthcare or Behavioral Health exp is a PLUS
What You Bring
- 7 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable
- Prior experience leading or supervising AP functions
- Solid understanding of how AP impacts the general ledger
- Background in multi-entity or multi-location environments
- Strong Excel and systems skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle large volumes of transactions in a fast-moving environment
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
