What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Account Executive position at Remembrance Hospice?
Responsible for managing major aspects of Hospice and Palliative Care Marketing under the management of the Corporate Director of Business Development : establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns. Hospice Account Executive is responsible for executing the sales strategy to increase company market share through account development and educating the medical community on services provided while operating within a set budget.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Directs daily marketing operations including implementation of marketing initiatives provided.
Understands and adheres to all laws, statutes and regulations regarding anti-kickback, lawful marketing activities (gifts and services), patient solicitation, and accurate marketing materials.
Monitors allocation of resources according to budgetary limitations for assigned accounts.
Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
Builds and monitors community, customer, and patient perceptions of the Hospice as a high-quality provider of services.
Identifies opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the Hospice's markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning.
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.
Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources should services not be provided by the Hospice.
Assists in monitoring and reporting cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.
