Senior Financial Analyst/Accountant

Schedule: Hybrid

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst & Accountant to join a prominent publicly traded company here in the Tampa region. In this role, you’ll be the go-to for corporate accountant and high-level analyst, making sure reporting consistently meets the bar set by US GAAP and SEC standards. You will drive the accounting and analysis for key corporate initiatives, working alongside cross-functional teams to maintain financial data and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting and analysis for complex corporate programs and related liabilities, ensuring all accruals and awards are recorded with high accuracy.
• Oversee specialized accounting lifecycles by managing classifications and maintaining financial models to support a monthly close.
• Partner with other internal departments and external service providers to coordinate specialized reporting activities and strategic financial analysis.
• Lead the preparation of comprehensive financial reporting packages, including monthly, quarterly, and annual templates as well as detailed cash flow analysis.
• Act as a liaison for audit engagements by preparing technical analysis and supporting the documentation of robust internal control processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field is required
• 2 years of accounting or finance experience (experience within a Big 4 public accounting firm is a preferred)
• CPA and/or MBA is highly preferred
