Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support full-cycle accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, the ability to work independently, and experience mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and review month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules
- Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
- Provide guidance and oversight to staff accountants or accounting clerks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 4 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close
- Proficiency in Excel
- Prior supervisory or mentoring experience preferred
- CPA or CPA-eligible a plus
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
