Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records including but not limited to the general ledger, budgets, forecasts, and other ad hoc reporting
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Assist with audits, ensuring adherence to standard GAAP requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
- Act as a team lead and mentor to staff accountant
Qualifications
- Must have a 4-year bachelor's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited university or college
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting for a mid to large company, or 2-4 years of experience in a public accounting firm
Required Skills
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools, including strong Excel
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
