Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Baylor/Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role located in Sedalia, MO. You will work 30hrs/week but get paid for 40hrs/week. Pay is $40/hr. The LPN will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to residents in alignment with care plans and medical instructions. Key responsibilities include monitoring residents' health, administering medications, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes. The individual in this role will also provide support and guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility standards.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Proficiency in patient care, including medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with staff, physicians, and families
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards, including understanding infection control and resident rights
• Ability to provide support and supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care and maintaining professional integrity
• Previous experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings is preferred
• CPR certification is required
