This position plays a key role in analyzing data, leading quality investigations, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure optimal product performance and reliability.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Recommend quality improvement parameters using statistical methods
- Analyze quality data from plant processes and customer indicators
- Lead quality investigations and problem-solving initiatives
- Provide feedback to customers on quality-related projects (warranty, APQP, etc.)
- Develop and implement quality improvement experiments
- Maintain statistical process controls and analyze process capability
- Conduct internal audits and quality reviews
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends
- Support continuous improvement efforts across the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–3 years of quality experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- 1 year of APQP and process audit experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel 5–10% as needed
