Reliance One is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to support a high-volume accounting environment in Novi, Michigan. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong AP experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for accuracy and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and record high-volume vendor invoices within the ERP system
- Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
- Verify pricing, discounts, sales tax, coding, approvals, and GL periods for accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding discrepancies
- Maintain and update vendor master records including banking and ACH information
- Ensure compliance with company payment policies and approval requirements
- Assist with month-end close activities including accruals, journal entries, and open PO reviews
- Reconcile AP subledger to General Ledger monthly
- Support audit requests by preparing and retrieving AP documentation
- Maintain and improve AP process documentation and procedures
- Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Experience with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience working in or transitioning to a paperless environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Strong communication and vendor relationship management skills
- Ability to start immediately preferred
