We’re a Palmer manufacturing team seeking a hands-on technician to keep our coating line running safely, cleanly, and to spec. If you thrive in a fast-moving production setting and enjoy precision work, this role is for you.
Impact you’ll make
- Turn detailed work orders into consistent, spec-perfect product.
- Operate the 475 machine while strictly following JSA documentation and standard processes.
- Guard quality: inspect output and cleanliness throughout every run.
- Spot and report material or process issues to the supervisor early.
- Keep impeccable production and QA records.
- Prepare mixes for adhesives, release coatings, and inks.
- Set and mount plates onto shafts to meet job requirements.
- Support the line with material handling and general production assistance.
- Maintain an orderly, safe workspace.
What sets you up for success
- 1 year as a manufacturing machine operator; exposure to coating, slitting, laminating, or related converting work preferred.
- Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Works well independently and as part of a team; takes direction effectively.
- Stable work history and a proactive, can-do mindset.
- Skilled in machine setups for production runs.
Logistics
- First shift (7am–3pm): $19/hr
- Second shift (3pm–11pm): $20.50/hr
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Temp-to-hire opportunity
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Must pass a drug test and background check
