Agawam manufacturing company currently looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. Candidate would support accounting operations by filing, running software programs, entering accounts payables & receivables. Supports other departments by performing administrative tasks such as filing documents, organizing electronic files, and sorting & assembling forms & documents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processes AP vouchers
- Posts customer payments
- Maintains accounting records by making copies and filing documents
- Reconciles vendor statements
- Submits invoices to customer portals
- Prepares and distributes reports as needed
- Provides back up receptionist and AP support as needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
Pay: $20-25/hr, depending on experience
