Warehouse Selectors

Springfield plumbing supply company currently seeking Warehouse Selectors for 1st and mid-2nd shifts! Candidates would be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring timely and efficient processing. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. Full time, temp-hire opportunity!

Duties

• Select and gather products from designated warehouse locations based on order specifications
• Use handheld scanners or pick lists to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely (training provided if needed)
• Pack, label, and prepare items for shipment according to company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed
• Follow safety protocols at all times during order picking and handling activities

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or order picking is preferred but not required. Previous pallet jack or forklift experience would be preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order selection
• Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely; certification or experience with forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for this role

Schedule: 1st shift 8:30am-5pm or 2nd shift 11am-7pm

Pay: $20-23/hr depending on experience
